Favorite Things Friday!

I'm baaaaaack...
and ready to rock 'n roll.

I've missed you guys!
So.
You wanna know what my
Favorite Thing is today?

Family!
{specifically the Texas variety!}

Me (hi!), my Mom, my incredible Grandmother, my sister, Heather (the Bride)
and my sister, Keri- holding my nephew, Jack (isn't he cute?)

Uncle Brent and Carson-
a little male bonding.

My dad with all of the boys (minus Jack)

My sister, Heather, and I getting
mani's and pedi's before her wedding.

The Cowboy Cousins!

Wanna know how great my sister is? She flew
up to MN and helped me drive back down to TX
with my three loud, crazy kids...
the WEEK before her WEDDING!

Who DOES that?!
I'm eternally grateful to her for doing that!

My beautiful Mom and sweet nephew,
Christian-- or as my boys
affectionately call him, LaLa.

My amazingly talented sister, Keri and I.
We laughed SO much while
putting the wedding decor together!
Love you, Ker!

The boys at the rehearsal dinner-
great door, huh?!
We had a lot of fun with it!

My dad with the kids--
he started a new tradition!
We're still talking about the "freewheeowlew"!

The sweetest baby boy on earth-
Jackson Boyd-- and my
gorgeous
Mom

The princess of the family-
Adorable Emma LuLu

Mick saving our rears!
Thanks for your help, Mick!

Heather- LOVING the fact that we
were making her wear all of
the garb!

So many fun things to
do in Texas!

Some serious
Cuteness!

Rehearsal-
with the chuppah we made.
{well...technically my talented Dad
made it...and Keri was the visionary for
the decor-- mom, Lyn and I just
did what Keri told us to do!
Not too shabby, eh?!}

And my absolute
FAVORITE thing
this week:
My amazing sister and her new
husband, Brent.

It has been a loooooong road,
but God has restored what
Satan had intended to be
destroyed.
We're so thankful for
you both and love
you so much,
Mr. & Mrs. Harris!

Yum!

Do ya love me?
Well, you're about to love me!
Fer reals, ya'll!

I know I plug I'm A Lazy Mom
like crazy around here...
but it's just because they have so many darn
cute and awesome ideas!

Well...today is no different.
Stacey posted about pudding pops
a while ago.
I had to try them..because...who doesn't
love pudding pops?!
And I just happened to have
some pudding in my
pantry.
So...
here ya go.

Now you love me, don't you?!

They're soooo yummy and
beyond easy to make!

Tomorrow we're leaving for Texas
for my sister's wedding.
So, I'll be MIA once again.
Check back in a few weeks for some
great pics and probably funny
stories about our trip!

Now, go make some pudding pops!

Favorite Things Friday!

Happy Friday!
We're finally back home from traveling
to Montana and back.

(By the way, didn't Michelle do a
great job on last week's
Fabulous Things Friday?)

What a trip!
We stayed in a total
of five hotels.
That's a lot of hotels.
And that's a lot of money.

My favorite thing this week is
name your own price
feature.
Please tell me you're using
priceline.

Your hotel bill literally will be 40-50% off.

We stayed at some fabulous hotels
for about the same price it
would have cost for us to stay
at a budget hotel!

Sometimes you can get really great deals
Deep Discount feature
as well!
We got the Crowne Plaza
for $55!
It was gorgeous!

So on your next trip, check out
Priceline and Hotwire!

You won't regret it.

Favorite Things Friday

Hello living.learning readers.
My name is Michelle, and I can often be found sharing random thoughts and projects at lovetojunk or  documenting the simple moments of an ordinary mom at ordinarytrainingextraordinary.
Traci asked me to guest blog today.  Yikes...what pressure!
So...what is my favorite thing this Friday?
The 4th of July!
My top 10 favorite things about this summer holiday (in no particular order):
-Freedom to worship the One and Only True God
-Freedom to speak and share my individual thoughts and ideas (a.k.a blogging)
-Fireworks...lots of fireworks...(Purchased with someone else's money, of course)
-The reminder of those past, present, and future who have sacrifice/d so much for my freedom
-Juicy watermelon dripping down sweaty chins
-Fireworks, fireflies, and giggles
-A hot, humid St. Louis evening spent with dear friends
-BBQ and lots of it
-American flags attached to little boys' bicycles
-and this....need I say more?

Yep...ice cold Coca-Cola in a glass bottle!
What would make your top 10 list?
Thanks Traci!
